While anything is possible I would say that it is unlikely that you could get a contract without supplements of some kind. Could you maintain a very muscular physique and compete in BB competitions? Yes absolutely.
Back to your original question...to ingest the RDI of some of the nutrients required to maintain an anabolic state (growth) you would need to eat vast amounts of food. So much so that you may become over fat.
There are a few alternatives to supplements
Substitute:
Food replacement or protein supplements for skim milk power.
Creatine Monohydrate or Phosphagen for fish and meat.
HMB for food sources with high Leucine foods like whole grains, milk and milk products. Eggs, pork, beef, chicken, pulses, soya beans, and leafy vegetables.
Hope that helps.

YES!! You can follow a good healthy diet, but you need to eat a lot of protein foods and PLENTY of food in general why you lift weights. I am not a body builder, but had lifted weights since I was 14, and kept in relatively strong shape by paying attention to what I ate. Lee Haney, 8 time Mr. Olympia, said in an article in Muscle and Fitness magazine many years ago that he added red meat to his diet, but not a lot of it. He said this helped his muscles develop a cut form. Red meat is actually a good source of protein, but, naturally, your best bet is skinless, boneless chicken breast, tuna, low fat, low sodium turkey breast, fish such as Talapia fillets, which are high in protein and very low in sodium and fat. You need to supplement with high protein and carb foods to fuel your body as the more weight you lift, and the more frequently you lift, the more calories you will burn. Those protein supplements and other over the counter "magic" pills..stay away from, because your body will actually expel excess protein in different ways. It can only ingest and use it so fast. Steroids...DON'T even think about them!!! Why damage your body? I don't know how hardcore you plan on getting, but it is good to read about using natural foods to help build your strength and sculpt your body. Also, stay away from sugar, drink primarily water and some milk for your bones, and add fruit juice to maintain your Vitamin C needs. Again, I was not a body builder nor any type of "expert", but I was very strong for my size because of all the things I did to help my body when I lifted weights. While I am overweight currently due to a few things, just know that you can maintain a healthy body just by eating correctly and lifting weights correctly. Bear in mind, though, if and when you should stop lifting, you will need to stop the high calorie intake as well. Good luck to you!!!

no longer basically maximum hardcore men physique builders, however the ladies human beings as nicely. To me regardless of the undeniable fact that i might somewhat see a organic male or lady bodybuilder in a contest whether they are no longer as extensive.

Absolutely, but if you put your body under that much stress some supplemental nutrition is probably a VERY good idea.
