PRACTICE,but not on the road alone! Have an experienced driver go with you. Drive slowly, and be alert! Signal all lane changes, don't do anything else while driving, keep your eyes on the road, look at the farther part of the road, use the mirrors. It takes time to gain self-confidence!If you're not quite ready yet, take some professional lessons. It's amazing that you passed the road test! You shouldn't be driving a brand-new car,but a very good used car. Good luck!
DON;T EVER PANIC! Slow down when coming to any intersection and let the speeders pass you.

Driving is a hard thing to master, and it is probably the most dangerous thing an average person does. Accept that most probably you will have accidents, that's normal, almost everybody have them.

It is definitely a good idea to have an experienced driver in the passenger seat for the first few hundred miles, be it a friend or a paid instructor. You will not be that afraid when you have somebody on your side, and you will get a lot of tips that relate to what is going on around you.

Drive as though everyone else is a bad driver take no risks stick to the rules you have been taught ,do not drink before driving, try to hang back a bit from the car in front. Have a good look at where your mirrors are set, its better to have them set wider and see cars all the way up to your car there is no rule that says you have to see the side of your car in the mirror . I am a member of a road safety council.~~

Drive the actual speed limit when you're a beginner. The extra time will allow you to look around for danger. If you're in a crowded city, be very patient.

Look ahead for any entrances to your road where a car could suddenly pop out. This can prepare you to watch a car that might accidentally drive onto your road at the wrong time.

Don't talk on the phone, do your makeup, eat, drink, paint your nails, fluff your hair, read a book, type on your laptop, or search the floorboards for things.

In other words, take driving seriously, and understand the capabilities and limitations of your vehicle.

The best piece of safety equipment in ANY vehicle is between the driver's ears.

alway look at your side window, most accident is from other drivers hitting the back of the other car. or your could hit a pole backing up.
