I've tried: Anafranil, Paxil, Prozac, Effexor, Cymbalta, Celexa, Serzone, Remeron, and Luvox.
Paxil is by far the best in my opinion. Effexor cames in at number two. The worst, by far, was Luvox. Celexa coming in at a close second.

Paxil had me sleeping up to 15 hrs a day within 3 days of starting it. I haven't tried any others except Prozac which was great for me but I don't sleep much naturally so I was getting less sleep.

Celexa is the only one that ever helped me without severe side effects. Everyone reacts differently to medications. Some people can't take Paxil (me included). I also know several people that swear by Lexapro.

I vote for Lexapro. I've also taken Zoloft, but Lexapro works better for me.
I've never tried any of the drugs on your list.

Lexapro; many of my clients report they sleep better, feel cheerful, depression goes away, their anger and irritability drops off and they can focus better during the day.

I'm partial to Prozac, Wellbutrin SR made me sick to my stomach.

lexapro is my fave with some klonopin. the worst i have ever taken was welbutrin. thats my vote

Zoloft worked for me but you have to watch your weight.
