I don't think so although some may go just to socialize. They may also go to the churches that have coffee and donuts after services. It is free food after all.

There are good numbers who are interested in churches for the history and the architecture, and only in beliefs in so far as it affects these.
On the other hand at the last (evangelical) church I attended, of those I discretely questioned, about one third did not believe but spoke and behaved as believers because they valued the community, the sense of belonging, that came with being a church regular.
So for different reasons, some non-believers visit churches a lot. The majority don't.
In the UK only about 6% of the population will go to church on an average Sunday.

Last time I was in a church was last December to listen to a friend and her choir sing religious music. The human voice is a wonderful instrument and I enjoyed the performance.
The time before that was about three years ago, to help a different friend decorate the chapel on the base for Christmas. I told her to back away from me if she heard thunder.
Seventeen years ago, I went to church every Sunday while I was in Air Force boot camp. Those that stayed behind in the barracks had to wax the floors.
Nineteen years ago (this is starting to make me feel old) I went to Europe and saw many cathedrals. Mont Saint-Michel was architecturally stunning.
The last time I really "went to church", I was eight years old. I was a budding atheist even then.

NO, that's why they are called "NON"- believers. That means they don't believe in that, so why would they go? I'm Wiccan but I was raised Catholic, I'm not about to start going to a Catholic church, it's not my faith. Some of my friends are Atheist and they don't believe there is anything, so therefore they would never go to church.

I love to visit old churches in Europe. But it's for the history aspect, not the religious. My favorite churches are Notre Dame in France and Roskilde Cathedral in Denmark.
Edit: And I don't go to the churches to worship. I go to look at the buildings and see who is buried there and to see all the statues and stained glass art.

All the time! What do you think the catholics, mormons and all the other false religions do? There is no true religion. The only truth is in the Holy Bible (KJV) 1611. Unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God. It says this in John 3:3. I tell so many people about being born again (saved) but they all just shrug it off like it is nothing. Most do not realize that they are heading for hell. Why do you think in the Bible Jesus talks about hell so much? And why do you think it says in the Bible that many will be called but few will be chosen? This means that many will be told of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ but they will not listen and keep on with their traditional religions to please others or because they are comfortable. Anything comfortable to the flesh is not of God. Here is a website I am sharing with many because it tells alot about salvation through Jesus Christ.

There's a lot of non-believers in church. They think it'll make them a better person and God wouldn't send a good person to Hell. They're wrong. Some just want the socialization. Lots of folks. Some, unfortuately, just hope to get on TV.

I go once a year just for fun. I'd like to go more, but I guess I'm just not adventurous as I'd like to be.
