Most (if not all) of christian beliefs have roots in pagan practices, from the virgin birth (which happens every year in the changing of the seasons) to the death, resurrection and rebirth of the god head (which also happens every year). Every one of christianities "sacred" holidays was taken from pagans in the early days of conversion. Most of your traditions are also pagan in origin, including the "communion supper" which can be found in the esbat rituals of pagan communities. Taking all of that into consideration, I would have to say, yes, most definitely christianity is paganism rehashed.

[excerpt]
Since the original Pagan holy books were all burned by the Church, Justin's attacks on Pagan religions give important facts about ancient Pagan practices. And his famous sentence:
"... we propound nothing different from what you believe regarding those whom you esteem sons of Jupiter," [ First Apology, 21]
sends a powerful message across the centuries: The very first Christians understood that Christianity was not new and not unique.

What? Who's been explaining Christianity to you? A Catholic? Good grief.
The short answer is: no. There are similarities here and there, but the differences are greater. There are similarities between the wolf spider in my garden and me - we both have the same color hair - but I'm not a rehashed arachnid.
