I dremnt of a door in the the sky in the evening and a red light emrged and an image of the devil apearing , and people where fleeing. I was reassurring my family and we didn't run.

I can interpret this dream but first I need more information. I need the spatial location of each item in the dream. Were you on the ground? Did you see the ground? What did the ground look like? How high up was the door? Were their clouds in the sky, what kind, how many, color? Color of the sky? Where was the red light? How big was the light? Describe the light more. Where was the devil? What did the devil look like? What was facial expression on the devil? How many people? Where were they? What did they look like? Where were your family, in front, on side, behind? Provide these details and perhaps some more and I will edit my comment and provide the meaning of your dream.

The evening represents the world is getting ready to go into a dark period of time which is close or near. The red light which you saw represents the glory of the devil and the warfaring nature of the devil. It means the devil is about to work chaos in the earth in such a way people will run for their live. But God will use you as a light and a pillar in your household to cover your family.
