Fiber pills are NOT vitamins. There are 13 known vitamins. All of them are needed for proper liver function.

Glutathione is a critical molecule for a damaged liver. You can increase your liver's glutathione production by taking the precursor to glutathione called NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine).

You can also take Silymarin - a herb that helps to heal/detoxify the liver.

You can buy a quality multi-vitamin/mineral supplement, NAC, and silymarin at any good healthfood store.

It might be a good idea to get an additional supplement of 'antioxidants' to help the liver recover from any damage.

Additional nutrients that may be helpful would include CoQ10 and R-lipoic Acid.

Best wishes and good luck.

you get not get vitamins for the liver. The medication only does things like that in really high doses over a long period of time. If you are really worried your doctor can run a simple blood test & he can tell you if there has been any damage.
Dont worry as the medication would have been fully tested before going on the market.
Usually people who drink high volumes of alcohol that gets affected

There's a superb book called The Liver Detox diet by Xandria Williams. I used it as a detox a few years back and because of another stressful year of caffeine and 24 hour working days, I'm using it again for a nice spring clean!

There's lots of foods you can take to help your liver- drink lots of water, lemon juice, artichoke, tumeric, onions, garlic, beetroot, salad greens, radishes, aloe vera. Supplement your diet with lecithin. Drink dandelion tea etc.

I seriously suggest reading the above book. As a vegan/vegetarian, I modded all the recipes to replace meat with tofu. I ignored any references to meat :-) I personally don't think that meat does the body much good, and fish contains dioxins, and I'd rather not poison my body on a detox!
