I love finally realizing that God isn't just my perseption of Him.He is big enough to extend out of my little narrow minded world of who He is! It is so freeing! I no longer have to worry about people who don't think just like me and such. I always thought that God didn't have favorites,I just didn't get how! I now really believe it!

Finally a real question: 1) How I view Reality.
As a buddhist, we believe that truth comes from within and not necessarily from without. (Truth = GOD = Soul = reality) Of course, the oppose is also true: I can never know anything to be true. Becuase of free will, a soul may wish to know more about itself, instead of focusing on God - than it is only a natural consequence to BECOME DEFINED, grow denser and sink deeper into 3 dimensional reality.
Someone mentioned "I Am That I Am" above. In the bible it is clear There are two qualities of GOD (known as the twin pillars) once HE let's himself become known: the I AM presence which is eternal self-generating, omniscient has no identity; and the THAT I AM presence which adapts and is based on individual self. It is possible that EVE or whoever she is meant to represent made it a habit to focus more on the THAT I AM aspect so that the sustaining power of the I AM was no longer dominant. Then GOD's protective hand would be off.
However, the main point of all of this is we and everything in existence is an individualized aspect of the I AM presence. In the case of humans, the THAT I AM aspect can show itself as the ego. Even when the sun is still shining, the ant (or ego)will hide under a leaf and even make us believe that it has put out the sun!! It only when we relinquish our dependence on the ego, that we the soul will realize it never left. ! Just look around. Find a park or a favorable spot and watch GOD-in- action. It is that inner-knowingess that everything is already perfect that is going to get you where you want to be.
2) How There is only ONE:
To study the buddha way is to study individual-self.
To study individual self is to remove individual-self
To remove individual-self is to be enlightened by all things.
To be enlightened by all things is to study the buddha way.
All that is left over is a revolving door. You tell me what comes next?

Let face it God is term and an explanation of all that is in the universe. Man has just given God a personality that matches his own because he know nothing else or at least this was true in biblical times.
Man is not capable of perceiving God until he can discover who and what he really is. The universe has done a better job of creating itself than man could have ever done in conceiving the mind of an all powerful God.

Why is God a HE? Why not she? WHy is god a WHO? why not it? WE as humans have to categorize things, it's how we learn...good...bad, I like I don't like. Jesus said the god I am speaking of cannot be spoken of. It cannot be described, only it's actions.....LOVE
