It sounds like it could be appendicitis. If you took her to the ER, based on those symptoms, that's the first thing they'd check for. This is serious. You should take her to the ER especially if the pain gets worse or she starts having fever. If her white blood cell count is elevated they will probably run some other radiology tests and possibly remove it. I work at a hospital and I've seen people come in with this and are in surgery right away to have it removed. If it bursts it can be life threatening. Best Wishes!

If it was appendicitis, the pain would be on her right side. If it was kidney stones, she would also be having sever pain that goes around to her back. Is there a possibility she could be pregnant? Pain like that could be a result of an ectopic pregnancy, where the egg has implanted in her fallopian tube. This is a dangerous situation where the tube can rupture and she can have internal bleeding. Be sure to ask the MD about his/her opinion on the matter b/c if it is, then she might need surgery ASAP. Good Luck, I hope its nothing serious!

Maybe she should make an doctor's appt. to get some x-ray's done. I had a sharp pain my right side above my pelvic bone a couple of years ago and I ended up getting operated I had Gallstones. She needs to go and get checked. The pain will only get a whole lot WORSE!!!

Here is something that might help... Link below

hospital now, it sounds like appendix. if it hurts more on the rebound(push in, then let go quickly, does it hurt?) at any rate, if it is appendix and she doesn't go, she'll be dead by morning, thats a fact. get it the car and go, now. The ER can't turn you away if you don't have insurance and they bill you later.
could be an ovarian cyst too, but I wouldn't dare take a chance with that, its not something to turn away from. if she refuses, make her. it could mean the difference between life and death.

It could also be cholecystitis or gallbladder pain. Best to get it checked out at a hospital ER.

I concur with the rest since I've already been there and done that.

I didn't get a T-shirt, though.....just this nightgown that opens in the back.

And when they say the next day, "Get up and walk," tell them, "Give me more drugs, first, dang-it!"

It could be appendicitis, kidney stones, or ovarian pain. You need to see a doctor.
