For prom i'm going with this girl name lets say Stacy. Stacy and i went to Homecoming together and we got there 30 mins before the dance ended (long story short, our group got lost in dinner.)
For prom her date cant go with her anymore because he is going to another school prom on the same night. So now she asked me to go with her, i said ok without thinking.
Her group is made up with mainly popular kids. I don't judge people or anything but they aren't the type of people i would get a long with. I'm sure she is going to ditch me when we get to the dance, and she won't even dance with me, just like homecoming. Though i'm confused at this part, Because we arrived 30 mins late to homecoming, i had to go take pictures with these 2 other girls, so i couldnt dance with Stacy, She said she waslooking for me, somehow, i dont believe it. We've been friends for at least 2 years. My good friend rachel wants me to go with her because she is warning me about what stacy is gonna do, because

rachel said that stacy told her she wasn't even going to dance with me at homecoming. she's telling me she's going to do the samething. I know Rachel seems like a good frined, but stacy is a good friend too, and why would a good friend do this to me?
any thoughts?

This is a no brainer. Stacy had her chance. She blew it. Go with Rachel to the dance and you will have a much better time.
Now, if you really like being used, and feeling bad, go with Stacy.

I can't help you with the question so much because it sounds like you would rather go with Rachel. So in the end that is probably what you will end up doing. I can however warn you that Stacy may be a bit distracted but Rachel is probably your normal conniving women (not talk in crap we all do it). She in no way should be talk in smack about the other girl. She is talk in smack because she wants you to take her instead. Tricky little temptresses we females are. So be weary of manipulation with that one. I only tell you this because guys have no clue how F****** crazy girls can be when they want something.

Yes, you are being used. Her date can't make it, so she just asked you so that she will still be able to go. Call her and tell her that you have thought about the way she treated you at homecoming, and that you have heard rumors about her ditching you at the prom. Tell her that if that is what she plans to do, you are not interested in going. Tell her that you would prefer to go with Rachel because you know that she won't ditch you. Tell her that if you are not her first choice, you are not going to be her second choice.
By the way, she is not a true friend, if she is telling everyone that.

Yes the girl is a pig--an uncaring, immature, silly, pig--and you should avoid her at all costs--even the prom--it is a social function that should be fun--not an event to make someone like you miserable--this girl is a pig and if I hear you spoke to her again I will be disappointed. If there is no other for the prom---you should go to a movie---it isn't the end of the world. Next time get your stuff together and have a plan to be on time and all the rest of it. Now get a grip and get going--find a better date or just forget it....and tell this pig girl to take a hike.

Go to the prom and get lost in the shuffle and have a nice time. So if she will not dance with you I bet there will be lots of pretty girls you will get an opportunity to dance with. When someone ditch you for what ever reason it open you up for better opportunity of things. So go anyway and just enjoy yourself.

Just go by youself... you keep your dignaity and you don't have to choose between friends. Just tell the B that you have thought about it and you really don't like the way you were treated at the homecoming. That you rather go by yourself. Save your self respect on this one, and just hang with your bros. If either girls would like to dance with you at prom dance with both (if you feel like it). This way you are not obligated to either. leaving yourself open for ne thing.

go with rachel. you werent stacey's first choice so how much fun would you really have if you went with her anyway? with rachel, you know you will have someone to dance with. go with rachel, she sounds like a better girl than this stacy chick.

If you said that you would go with her then do it. Even if you don't dance with her at prom you still have your friend Rachel to dance with.
