Get a lawyer asap. Or, go to human rights. Or, file a civil complain with Anti Defamation League. Or file a civil case in court. Or, contact your licensing agency. I assume its X-Ray technicians.

If you are unaware of a problem, this could be a medical scam on the patient's part.

Obviously the firing, the police, the revocation against your license are related.

A lawyer can/will:

1. Request or subpeona information concerning the reason for your dismissal from your previous employer.

2. Request or subpeona a copy of the police report.

3. Request or subpeona the 'old patient' to provide information under 'discovery'.

4. Request or subpeona your licensing agency to provide information about the complaint and charges.

5. Send a cease and desist letter to your ex-empolyer.

An employer is not required to give you a reason unless you are filing for unemployment.

What's going on is between you, the licensing board, and whoever you inappropriately touched or were negligent with.

You can do all of those things the other person listed *without* paying $250 an hour for an attorney + the actual fees of filing all that.

I'd advise you to seek legal counsel, except you aren't saying what the charges are. You'd have to know that in order to retain legal counsel.

Could this have anything to do with confidentiality laws or protocol in the medical field? That business is "office only" and not to be shared or addressed on the street?

well they could have fired you just because. find out if you live in a right to work state... and the lady could have gotten parinoid once she found out you didn't work there anymore and embelished what happened. i wouldn't worry about it to much just tell your side of the story and you should be fine.
