My ex that i still like alot asked me what I was doing this saturday and see we have this carnival thing coming to town so i was like idk maybe going to go the carnival and he was like well your going cuz im taking you.
i thought it was so cute how he said this.
the reason we broke up in the first place was because he cheated on me. I have a feeling that he wants to get back together with me, I really want to but i dont know if I should, its like he really does care but he confused. Im afriad that if I do take him back he will lie and cheat again but then i have that feeling maybe he wont. I am so confused right now, what do you guy think i should do?

You can go with him, but take everything he says with a grain of salt.
Remember, some guys will repeat the same stuff they say to every girl. They will put on a smile or grin when in reality behind the face they are impatient for your mouth to shut so they can get on with life/get in your pants. There are alot of two faced guys out there and since this fellow cheated, he could be one.
HOWEVEr, he could also be a nice guy. Keep an eye out for insecurities. If he seems insecure that could mean he likes you. Unfortunately, these insecurities might also turn you off since women dislike men who are 'real' (and vice versa, sadly).
Just keep an eye on him and don't let yourself get outsmarted.

Tell him that he can take you, but only as a friend. Tell him that he lost your trust when he cheated, and he will have to earn it back. Whatever you do, do not take him back until you feel that he is serious about not cheating on you again. Don't let him make a fool of you twice.

NO whatever you do, dont get back with him, once a cheat always a cheat honestly you cant change leopard stripes. just move on a leave him behind, you will never be able to fully trust him again. and relationships should be based on trust

Don't take him back--don't set yourself up--but do enjoy his company when the opportunity presents itself. Be in control of the relationship you have with him. You cannot go back to the way it was--you must proceed with the relationship the way it will be for you. That means setting up boundaries--boundaries that he will have to respect.
If your emotions get the best of you and you are swept away by him, know that he will go back to his old ways and you will have to prepare yourself for that.

Once an cheater, always a cheater! You deserve better than him. Do not settle, even if you have feelings for him. Be strong, and don't give in to him! Good Luck!
