Basiclly my group of friends excluded me out because I defend the people they mock, befriend the friendless, & just an overall nice person. Now I sit alone at lunch (because it got around that if anyone sat/talked with me...they'd spread a bunch of rumors about that person) Ive been friends w/ these girls since kindegarten & they dumped me in a second!! I dont want to be alone all the time, but everones too scared to be friends with me! What can I do?

You sound like a very special young lady Ali. I want to commend you for not just joining in with your "A-list" friends in order to stay popular. It may not be easy to see your friends shunning you, just for acting kind to those they perceive as beneath them, but don't ever compromise your principles at the expense of those who have done nothing wrong to deserve being ridiculed & treated as outcasts.
If they were loyal friends, they wouldn't be treating you so poorly. So I would suggest trying to remain friendly to all, and the ones who were truly your good friends will eventually come back around .... for those that don't, it wasn't that great of loss anyway.

Based on your question "do nice girls always finish last " I'm not too sure if what you meant is do good girls always a losers.... But anyway every individual has their own weakness point, you can't able to determine a person in only a point of view, one might be good at something but he/she might be worst in other thing.............And to your what so called friends that left you alone, darling, believe me they are not your real friends.... because FRIEND is someone to leap you up when your world is going down, someone whose always right there besides you through thick or thin.
Maybe you're way too good to be their friends, they felt that you're a hindrance in every bad thing they will do.....as you always reminded them what the right thing to do........I believed you tried your very best to make them lead a proper way in life.......but since they didn't listen to you and yet they leaved you..............Well, move on, there are so many friends out there, meet new friends. And this time try to know them even more better,don't give all your heart and time with them until you finally knew that they deserve to be your friends. And please don't ever think that being naive in everything means being a looser... I know you are smart!!! Now,prove them that they made a mistake loosing you as a friend.

Your so-called friends don't sound like they were really your friends in the first place. If they were, they wouldnt do that to you.
