I'm 335lbs and I've been eating this way for about 2 weeks now and I've lost 3lbs. So tell me what you think and if I need to make "little changes".

~Breakfast
1 Cup of Quick Oatmeal w/ Apple Slices or, Whole Grain Cereal and Green Grapes.

~Lunch
Whole Grain Sandwich(Plenty of Veggies), Carrot Sticks and Yogurt

~Dinner
Nice Size Salad(With Plenty of Veggies)

I'm 17 and a High School Junior. So I know what I want to do with my life(Model/Fashion Designer). I drink only water, if I have a drink craving besides water, I'll use Crystal Light. Nothing else. I haven't touched a Drink sense March 2. And I feel great. My skin is much better and I feel more energetic. Also, I walk indoors. I walk 4 Miles everyday(I love to walk). It takes me about 55min to 1hr. 5min.

If I keep this up everyday, will I lose any weight?

Small Lunch Cooler? Those bags of ice you get at the Gas Station, can I pack a small amount of the ice at the bottom and pack like my lunch? Sandwich in a Baggie or Plastic Wrap or Salad(No Dressing) in a container like thing? Can I do that or will it spoil?

I think you need more protein, but otherwise it's not bad. add some lean meat or soy protein in there somewhere, or beans or peanut butter. you need protein for your muscles.

ps - good job, losing weight is hard, but you seem to be sensible and realistic and on the right track.

I am no expert, you should check to see about how many calories you should eat a day, how much the exercise you do burns, and try to reduce your input somewhat while increasing your output. I have found that you should not jump on any special diet, eat what you normally eat, of course cutting down on the salt, etc. cut back on any sodas you drink, and walk walk walk.. you will soon be where you want to be. If you "deprive" yourself with your diet, you will suddenly gorge yourself to make up for it.. in a few words, eat smaller portions, do more exercise and do it over a long period of time, at least a couple of months... weigh yourself daily to keep track and to keep yourself going.. it feels better when the pounds start coming off and makes you want to work harder, but stay on track.. you can make it..

you are undereating and will only lose water weight and muscle, slow down your metabolism which will make fat loss in future even harder plus you will gain back more than lost when start eating normal.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and that's how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried in lots of oil.
you can spoil yourself once in a while, of-course:)

i think u have to add a little more carbs on our diet. eg. rice (but just in a small amount) bcause if u do not have enough carbs... sooner or later u will have ifficulties in breathing and ull become an anorexic. just take a small amount of rice would be fine...

u r doing the right hting but just dont get too hard on urself.
good luck!

Sounds like you're doing the right thing!

Now you might want to vary your diet a little, because you can and will get bored.

I would suggest adding a multi-vitamin to your diet if you don't already have one. If you don't like those, you can also try something like Vitamin Water or Fuze, which have very little calories and lots of vitamins!

people who regularly weigh themselves and keep track of their progress in a journal are more likely to lose weight

Yes, defiantly. I'm surprised you haven't lost more. Keep it up though, sometimes it starts out slow and then it all falls off at once.
