You have to know by instinct. I am going to take this to a male's point of view. Firstly, if a girls seems to be ignoring you at times, then maybe she doesn't like you. However, that could mean she might like you and is too shy to come across your prescence. If you happend to converse with this girl, watch her behavior: When she looks down to the floor, blushes, or even stumbles in what she says. Obviously, she has an affinity toward you. But then again, if the conversation only lasts for about 30 seconds, without any exceptions, maybe she doesn't like you.

When they yell out across a sea of people to you, saying "Hey...f--ck head--was that you in drag last night at (wherever)!!!!" That might be a subtle sign someone dislikes you.
Or when two young girls are in the ladies' room, touching up their makeup....one looks over to the other, a sheepish grin shows suddenly, followed by the barely heard word....."*****" as she spins off and out to rejoin the clubbers outside.
That too, is a quiet example of dislike---and it's spreading!!!

if they dont make it blatantly obvious that they dont like you, then you dont know. How can they like or not like you if they dont even know you?
