Well, why don't you get to know God and then you can ask Him yourself? There's probably a lot more you'd like to know.

This is rooted in truth but the bible as we know distorts that facts.
All you need do is read the books Zecharia Sitchin wrote on the Sumerian culture. If you are Christians this would make you think long and hard about the history and the validity of your bible as it is written but I know Christian fools will call the sky green when it is proved to be blue.
There is far more proof in this world about who and what man called God if you would do you own research. It only a matter of time truth will be accepted by the lost Christians.

Rape was not the root word used here. Angels are good beings that follow Gods ways. Demons are fallen angels that chose evil over God's ways.
People constantly forget God gave the great gift of free will to choose good or evil. He does not plot out evil things. People do!
Dont blame God for human rotten choices and actions.
Thanks for another derogatory question.

Read the book of Jude. You will find that there were a group of angels who did not fight with Satan in his rebellion. But these angels just left their heavenly habitation and came down and took human wives. God did not just allow them to come and rape women. You have to understand that all mankind was wicked at that time. The reason these angels came down in the first place was because they were working with Satan to try to rule the earth for themselves. The wanted to contaminate the bloodline of mankind so Christ could not come, but Noah's bloodline was not contaminated. There were evils spirits working in the people as well to try to bring this plan to fruition.

Your understanding of the scripture is that you grow to be attentive to that the sons were coming down from heaven and that isn't so. we are all little kids of God. extremely Adam and Eve created human bodies for the spirits of God and the sons were already right here in the international, no longer in heaven. So this verse is amazingly hardship-free in putting forward that the adult males were mating with the ladies to procreate.

That was added to the bible to try and convert us godless (though we believe in many) heathenish pagans. The focus was primarily on the Romans and the Greeks, who believed that the God's came down to make "sexy time" with the mortals. And there were spawn from such relationships such as Hercules. Now in the interest of converting as many into Christianity as they could, instead of telling them "you are wrong, we are right" it was allot easier to say "well you were mostly right....beings did come from heaven and make sexy time with your women, but they were not Gods, they were angels. And this proves us further right and you further wrong" Most of the changes in the bible where done for political reasons or for conversion reasons. What is left is full of contradictions because of subtle changes in order to further personal goals.

The "sons of God" referred to are the children of believers. See: Romans 8:14. Do a search for those three words together in the Bible. Lots of references.
The "daughters of men" are the children of unbelievers.
That gives us the Biblical admonition not to be "unequally yoked (married) with an unbeliever."

Not true wrong translation. Sons of God are spirit filled people not angels. They were wiped out with the flood. God even said that their days would only be for another 120 years. The time it took Noah to build the ark.

The "sons of God" reference in Genesis 6 is a reference to believers mixing with unbelievers. There is a lot of hooey that has come from the notion of angels mixing it up with people.

God gave angels free will also, which means if a being choses this or that, God does not undermine that free will.
In Genesis 6, they were punished afterwards...chained in everlating darkness (prison of angels) until Judgement Day.. as it is written in the Letter of Jude, as a consequence of their choice to sin/ rebel against His orders.

The "Sons of God" were not fallen angels. God is loving, but people choose to do evil, over and over.
