As a muslim I was thinking about having a garage sale to support poor and needy people.

Today my wife and I packed up a bunch of stuff to go to Eagle Pass, Texas - it's for people who lost everything in the storm there recently. As I was loading up the truck, it dawned on me THIS STUFF IS WORTH MORE TO THE PEOPLE IT'S GOING TO THAN THE MONEY I COULD HAVE GOTTEN FOR IT IN A GARAGE SALE.

Don't have a garage sale - give the stuff to the poor directly.

May God richly bless you for your efforts and care for the poor!

Dear Jazzy J,

That's a great idea! My church has had different events to support the poor and teens who are sexually exploited in other countries.

You can always donate toys, clothes, do a fund-raiser, etc. just to help others. i'm a Christian by the way and i think that it's a wonderful idea...

Good luck with that. Kindly,

Nickster

SURE. i DON'T SEE WHY YOU CAN GO AFTER YOUR HEART. YOU ARE GIVING YOURSELF A REWARD. COLLECT SOME TREASURE JUNK THAT TURNS BUCKS FOR GARAGE SALE.
