My hair grows back really fast so I hate going to the barber. I spike my hair on the top and I get a 1 on the sides. I just want to know how to trim the sides and the backs with a razor and I will leave the top to a barber.

If you cut your own hair, it'll never ever look as good as when your hair is cut by your barber.
However, it can look decent if you take your time and use mirrors throughout the entire process.

I use a shaver with a large attachment (about and inch and a half). I spike it too, no problemo!
