I am doing some history home work and its about the war in iraq?

i am agaist the war and I have to find 2 interest group or organization that is for the war can any one plz help i can t find them any where i have been searching the web for 2 hours! thnx

Try www.americanconservative.com or www.proudconsevative.com or www.gop.com.

There are several organizations that have members for and against the war. It is hard to isolate the entirety of a group to one sole opinion. I would search conservative republican sites or patriotic sites. I would omit anything that involves itself with liberal indoctrination or liberal media, as well as anything from pbs or ".org" sites, because the majority of these sites have political agendas that skew the facts.

You sould be looking for interest groups that wanted the ouster of Saddam. With that goal accomplished there was no need to keep a high profile. That would be the Kurds and the Shiites in Iraq. Kuwait and Iran wanted Saddam gone too.
Israel was another country that wanted Saddam gone. All these countries (except Iran) lobbied congress for the war.

As far as the continued violence of Iraq, the lobbiests don't care. Sure there are people that are saying the U.S. and allies are doing a good job. Even the Iraqis in the end want them to stay according to even the new polls. Here is a map promoting the idea that Iraq is on the right course:

I know of organizations that are pro-military, but I know of no one (other than the Bush Administration) that is "pro-war".

i dunno about interests groups, but corporations who make money from conflicts like this would be gun manufactuers . Think about it, what kind of interest group will admit they are for the war, for people dying? If you look at where all the money is being spent, you will find your happy people.
