3 days is all it takes to get over cravings. you just have to get over those 3 days.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and that's how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried in lots of oil.
you can spoil yourself once in a while, of-course:)

Here's what I did... it's not easy but it works.
Everytime you have a food craving, wait 15 minutes. This will help you learn to delay cravings.
Before eating, drink 20 oz. of water, even if you're not thirsty. It will help you get full faster.
Finally ask yourself about what you're eating. Is it good for you? What are the nutritional specs (learn to read labels)?
If you think it's an unhealthy choice ask yourself one final thing. Its 10 minutes worth of pleasure in eating this worth more than years of fitness and good health?
Oh, and don't cheat. No one care's but you, so why cheat yourself? Cheating will open the door and destroy the confidence you gain when you change your lifestyle.
Good Luck!

Take 2 tbls. apple cider vingegar in a glass of water before a meal. Do this faithfully. Do not give up. Vinegar has 93 vitamins and minerals. It will cure your overeating which leads to guilt feelings. Hair and nails grow strong too. cures depression, acne. Read the heinz apple cider vinegar website. You will be able to eat your sweets just not so much of it. I eat ice cream, cake, candies and cookies and I still have a beautiful figure for a woman of 50. Vinegar gives you lots of energy.

Get a lot of fruits and veggies in your diet. I like smoothies. They give you energy and you get fruit in your diet. I know, sugar is very very addictive. I tried to go off it completely and had very strong cravings for the stuff. Eliminate sweets gradually so that your body becomes adjusted to the lack of sugar. I don't suggest going cold turkey.

They say cravings only last for about 15 min, so when youre craving something 'bad', distract yourself. Try sugarfree sweets. they tast exactly the same. There's always a healty version to high fat foods.

you will first need to start off by throwing away all your junk food.
and don't make any attempt to buy any more later on.
and do not ever go to the super market when you are hungry because then people tend to buy everything they see.
and you also need to exercise 30 minutes minimum each day , and don't miss one day.
and hopefully you'll see the results
