my dd is 3 and 1/2, and all she wants to watch is 'the wall'. i have educated her on all genres of music since she was 6 months old, but she is obsessed with the wall. i have never over-played it for her, but she is drawn to it. should i be concerned? she has a healthy balance of music, but she prefers the 'disturbed' and 'hoochie' music the most. thoughts, advice, ideas?

When you think about "the wall" has some pretty kid apealling cartoons on it. If you are concerened about her watching it too much you can limit the amount she watches. Just be thankful she's not obbsessed with tele-tubbies or the boobahs!!!

My older son will fal asleep if we play Ozzie Osbourne and my littler one will dance to anything with a modicum of a beat (I'm not kidding. We live near the fire station and he even dances to the firetrucks sirens that go by.). Our older one likes rock and I mean some serious thrash metal and everything but country. Our little one doesn't care, he just likes to dance. They listen to mostly classical as that is what I like the most but they have their own preferences. Don't worry about it, the world doesn't have the same meaning when you are little, even death isn't creepy to little ones like it is to us (we found that out when my grandma died).
