Drug tests should only be done with the knowldege and consent of the parent and then only if there is some probable cause. The general student body should be subjected where every student has to prove non-guilt and the drug tests are not 100% accurate and those smart enough can figue out how to manipulate.Have had to submit and be tested for employ and the drug facility was so lax it was laughable. This should not be a police society and under a democracy no one is assumed guilty but rather innocent until proved otherwise.

According to the law, you're innocent until proven guilty. Drug testing presumes the opposite. Tests can be manipulated or falsified. A false positive can scar a kid's permanent record forever. Drugs that are milder and less dangerous, like marijuana, show up longer than severe drugs like cocaine, which disappears over the weekend.
