He He! I think it is because your Mum knows how to fix your food just right so it is perfect for you. Your Mum has had many more years of experience than a girlfriend.
In my case, no one cooks as good as my Grandmother - not even Mum!! (God, i hope she doesn't see this!)

Or maybe it's because you're a lazy ale swilling a sshole, so you attract the women that are lazy ale swilling tramps. :D
It doesn't apply to all women, nor all of the women in this generation. By the way, I can cook just as well as my mother. So come off it already and move out of your ma's basement.

I cook as good as or better than my mom (if that is what a mum is)
I am only lazy after I have cooked so this question makes no sense to me at all.
:) (a sense of humor is better than someone cooking a good meal for you............look for the sense of humor and the rest will fall into place)

Unfortunatly, though the womans movement was a WONDERFUL thing, it also made the home maker a taboo sorta thing, like, "why aren't you doing enough for your gender?!?" Gasp, she doesn't have a career. I love my rights as a woman but I think woman still have roles to fulfil, just as men have roles to fulfil (The difference is that men can't do OUR job as well as we can but we can do theirs). I didn't know how to cook great meals but I was determined to please my husband that way because he does his duties everyday & deserves a home cooked meal, not some half asses microwavable food.
They are still out their, buddy. If you truly love your girl & she loves you, you can learn these things together. Don't think you are better than her & that she should serve you. It's not like that. Work together, appreciate her & understand if she doesn't do it right. :)

i see you are looking for a fight!
comparing your mothers cooking to the spouse is one way to have her lock up the shop on you.
you never tell you wife or woman that your mother is a better cook.
naturally your mother has a lot more practice. also, you have gotten used to your mother's cooking.
we never tell the main squeeze that even though we know that to be the case.
i bet you are a real courageous guy!

Alot of wives and girlfriends can cook better than their husbands and boyfriends. And not all of this generations women are idle drinkers!!!!!
Why cant husbands and boyfriends be as nice and courteous as your dad?

Women are beautiful creatures and have yet to come across a tramp. It amazes me that you would call your girlfriend one because she doesn't cook for you. Why don't you cook together, or do something different cook for you'r woman ? We cook together and enjoy each others respect, and don't treat one like crap because one won't do something.

Is this because lazy-sit-on-their-***-all-day husbands and boyfriends don't think that maybe sometimes we have better things to do than give them dinner because we to work all day? Get a life, or go live with your mum
