why when i try to post a quetion asking if i could pray for other believers, and if they could pray for me, it gets deleted!!! i mean, come on. if it offends you by me asking for prayer from my brothers and sisters in christ, then why are you answering quetions in that category? i mean, seriously, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you are in a place talking about religion, that they will mention prayer, or God, for that matter!!!!!!!!!!!

and yes, i would be a form of quetion, when you say, "can i pray for you", "is there anything you would like me to pray for you about", or "can you pray for me about this"

That is considered chatting / personal correspondence. It is not a pursuit of knowledge.

That is not what this forum is for. Read the Community Guidelines.

I read on one of the blogs that they were going to start enforcing the band on prayer requests, people just asking chatty questions, posting survey questions, etc. Some major changes are coming because of how bad things have got in some forums. R&S was one mentioned. Too many hateful people posting nonsense.

Asking people to pray for you is a form of "personal communication" and is against the rules here. You are only to ask questions and give answers. That is why YA deletes it.

No one here reported your question. Yahoo has strict guidelines about the types of questions that can be asked here. Asking favors is the same as solicitation, which is not allowed. Certain words are flagged and will cause your question to be deleted.

We atheists are not like the fundies who report all of our questions. We believe in everyone's right to ask whatever they want.

Good luck with your praying though ...

It sometimes happen. You have to put it in a form of a question that sounds more like a question than an offer.

Such a question wouldn't bother me, although it is arguably not a request for information.
