I had a similar experience but I can tell you it was not god .
I saw the light but it was the experience of an oxygen starved brain of course god would only come to such a state and not otherwise is illogical and makes absolutley no sense at all. I don't fool myself about this any more but I do believe in living a good life non the less as much as possible . thanks for your take on your experience .

I realised in mid-teenage that faith became into based upon no longer something yet itself, that technological awareness defined nature satisfactorily without wanting supernatural beings, and that non secular ideals have been no distinctive to those of historic ideals in gods and goddesses. Up till then i became right into a non secular, practising Catholic. once I first had doubts approximately my faith i assumed that in line with probability this became right into a attempt of my it. So I made the attempt to settle for it much greater so. however the doubts got here lower back, and that i questioned what could take place if we took faith out of the equation; the international and nature nonetheless made experience, so I observed no reason to get lower back into it. And my know-how is that there is not any theoretical or mathematical want for a god or gods, and there is not any valid data of it or them; so there is not any reason to have self assurance. on the time this became into complicated intellectually and emotionally (i became right into a teenager, after all). That became into getting on for 40 years in the past, and my get away from faith has freed me to embody what technological awareness has to grant, which I evaluate far greater attainable than perception interior the supernatural, and is the closest we are able to get to the actuality approximately how nature and the universe artwork. i've got felt a feeling of freedom ever because, and am happy and at peace with this. I nonetheless have an pastime in religions, mythology and appropriate concerns, and am fascinated that folk nonetheless have self assurance in issues that to me are it appears that evidently basically no longer actual.

Share it with whoever you think might be interested. But don't use it as a tool to try and prove to others anything. Share it with others and let them do what they want with the information. that's what I try to do with my near-death experience. By sharing I have been able to meet others who've had near-death experiences of their own. About 4 so far.

My spiritual awakening was similar to your near-death experience but i can't describe it because it was so overwhelming. When it happened i thought i was crazy and that if i told anyone they would lock me up. The funny thing is that i began to "run" into people who had the same kind of experience."Seek and ye shall find" seems to apply, dn't you think?

Most such "testamonies" are made for the speakers self-glorification. God does not work in your life to give you an excuse to show off. If its real, start thinking about what you can do to help people, BESIDES runing yourmouth.

Don't proselytize. Nobody wants to hear it, it is not convincing, and it is not true. God is not real. If you want to convert me, you'll need cold hard facts.
