will i get sick if i eat molded bread?

just one slice.... it had mold on part of the crust which i peeled off. but i'm not sure if the rest of the bread was molded.

will i get sick? i'm actually concerned because i have a fear of vomiting (no lie) and a bit of a fear of stomach aches; so i just want to know in advance.

You're fine.

Most of the molds that live on breads aren't harmful unless you eat large quantities (an obvious visible culture on the bread for instance).

If you can See mold on any part of the bread, there is mold on all of it in that package, but it is nothing to be concerned about, and eating such small quantities can actually be helpful to digestion.

Just don't get fooled into thinking eating moldy bread is going to provide penicillin as an antibiotic.. in its natural state, penicillin can be quite harmful if consumed regularly or in a large single dose. (or if you are alergic)

Depends on the mold, i guess. I read an old medical book that had a section of Civil defense(protecting yourself from a nuclear attack) that said that as long as you tear the green mold off of bread it is safe to eat.

If there any mold left on the bread you would have tasted it. Chances are you will be fine. Check your bread very closely next time.

i can,t say you won,t each person is diffrent my husband told me one time it wouldn,t but i won,t it eat he ate some one time and didn,t get sick
