You actually have to go to bed and go to sleep for it to work. Sitting at your computer tells your body that you are not interested in sleeping.

If your body is not in the habit of you taking Benadryl, it should take effect soon. It also helps with sinus drainage which can cause a sore throat. If 1 doesn't help take 2 that should really make you sleepy. We have a chemical in us that helps us to sleep-Melatonin-which you can buy over the counter and is not expensive at all. It will really help you sleep with no dry mouth or sleepy feeling the next day.

Benadryl will not kick in automatically and you should wait another 30-45 minutes, then if you dont feel drowsy take another half and wait for the effects, this night do not take more than 2, no matter what, this will be bad for you if you do

I believe the box/bottle reads 1 - 2 caps. Give it about 30 minutes and you should be on your way to snoozetime.

It usually takes about 30 minutes. Don't take more than the recommended dosage.

I take these to sleep and I only take one. If you lay down and close your eyes, you probably will fall asleep quickly.
