I believe in the evolution and I believe that in the mid-way God used Adam and Eve as a symbolic couple to tell us about Creation, since science would be too far in the future and He needed to get His message to those men's hearts. Maybe Adam and Eve really existed, but they were one couple in hundreds. Everything in Genesis is symbolic, the tree, the snake, etc. I wouldn't disregard it, though.

This is my theory, based on my intuition.
