I've been going out with the same guy for a year and 7 months now. He's really shy when it comes to us! we've haven't even kissed yet? Should I take a chance and try to kiss him?

Yeah, why not? Unless he has some moral or religious reservation towards it then I'd say go for it. It is possible that he may be unsure of how to kiss or or he may not feel too confident in how he kisses and you could help him with that, just be patient and understanding in showing him how to kiss.
In this day and age, there's nothing wrong with a woman making the first move...

Yes you can take the chance. Maybe he hasn't kiss you because he being the gentlemen, or he is really shy, so you have to make it so that this relationship can go on a different level. He is to scared to do anything.

ya if it take him that long to make the first move then ya you should do it! 7 months is a loooong time lol and u guys havent kissed. you definatly need to make the first move or he will never do it... if the guy doesnt kiss me or at least try to and we have been going out for like a month then i would be really questionable about the whole relationship itself and wondering whats wrong with him lol.. does he really like me?? but i dont mean to get you all worked up or anything he does like alot... hes just really shy and thats normal especially if your his first gf... but anways you should make the first move, surprise him he will love it!!

I don't know how old you are or what your beliefs are, but I hope what ever you decide you will not regret in the future. My beliefs are that we should stay pure until our wedding day. The Bible talks about that, and if you will not married this guy and you kiss him you both will be robing you future.Be wise, and good luck with what ever you decide.

jesus christ you havent even kissed yet? 7 months. the longest it took for me to kiss my girlfriend when i was shy was 3 days... just go for it once you do it more then he probably wont be as shy

Yes, if he's shy it's your turn to take the lead, guys love it when the girl steps up and takes charge. It takes some of the pressure off of him.
