My three year old male cat started having loose stools about three days ago. Now he goes about every two hours and it's just liquid. He is still very active and curious. Eats when I feed him and drinks water as normal. I'm very concerned about him though because I don't know what it could be. I haven't changed his food, I do not think he got into any trash, human food, etc., and he's not around ANY other cats to where he could have contracted a parasite or virus... ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Its possible he has worms, call your vet, they will most likely want you to bring in a stool sample. Even if he never goes outside or has no contact with other animals, your feet do.

You have left it three days too long. Your poor cat may now be dehydrated, specially if he is going every two hours. If you haven't wormed him - because he never goes outside - it may be a high worm burden.
Get him to the vet asap please, because whatever it is he will need meds now.

Just because he doesn't go outside doesn't mean he cant catch air born ailments or that you haven't brought something into the house.
As for parasites, cat always have worms, etc at different parts of the life cycle, that is why worming is a regular occurrence

Going to the vet would definitely be the best idea for this. You never know what it could be, but dont let it get out of hand. It could be something serious or it could be something minor, but if it's serious it's better to catch it before it becomes chronic or fatal.

I have had cats all my life and never seen this happen. If one of my cats had more than one loose stoll, I would take him to the vet that very day. It sounds bad.
