If you are talking about black mens' 360 waves let me first let you know that jams, greases and pomades do not develop waves. Brushing a lot does. Greases, pomades, etc. just make your waves more visible by laying your hair down and making them look better. Since you have nappy hair here are the pomades that I recommend....
shorter hair: "Sportin Waves" (in a black can usually be found just about anywhere but family dollar is guaranteed to have it)

medium length hair:"Sportin Waves"(in a gold can also found just about anywhere)

longer hair: "Dax"(in a red can found in a lot of places but walmart is guaranteed to carry it)

Make sure you always keep your hair clean and moisturized. The moisturizing grease that I use is Indian Hemp by Softee. You can find this just about anywhere and it only cost $1.

If you want to know how to get waves just go to http://360waves.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=3875

There they have product reviews and waving info. Yo can also set up posts to ask more experienced wavers questions what kind of products they use.
