I can't see why not. This Bisexual man is a Christian. I can tell you why. Yes there are many who don't agree. But I tangle with them often enough to know that they cannot use the Bible to explain that they are right about that. It simply does not support the idea that there is a certain kind of sinner that cannot be covered by God's sacrifice, Jesus.
A Christian is a Christian because he or she puts their trust in God through Jesus Christ. Nothing can get in the way of that once it's accomplished. God promises things in the Bible and a Christian will believe it. They trust God to fulfill His word, whatever God says, he will do.
I hope to see you around.

Yes, they can. Since God, and only God, may judge us...(Matthew 7) it is not our place to take control of other people's lives and choices in their lives (birth control, abortion, lifestyle, voting, etc.)
But, it is very clear in the Bible that God is "displeased" with those who practice "alternative" lifestyles. So, while a gay man or a lesbian woman may accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they are not sin-free. But neither am I! Can I really tell a perfect stranger that they are going to hell, because they don't live their life EXACTLY like I do? No way!!!
NOt everyone wants to be in a traditional marriage as I am, or be married at all, or speak calmly, or love every other person, etc. So, they may find Christianity to be the faith of choice ( and I am glad for that) but their sin is sexual alternatives.
I cannot judge anyone, nor can I change anyone since I myself am a sinner. I pray that these good people will seek God's discernment and forgiveness. Then, I hope that they will forgive me for my past sins of using angry profanity, drinking to excess, lusting at single women, lying in school, using the Lord's name in vain, skipping church to attend a baseball game, and the list goes on....

You are a Christian if you put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This does not mean that you will instantly turn away from all of your sinful ways overnight and be perfected in Christ immediately. If this were true we could all be taken directly to heaven the moment we accepted Jesus.
We all have a sinful nature that we fight against. We all have our favorites we like to pick on. The obvious ones -abortion, homosexuality... but gossip, judgement, selfishness, glutony... are all sins also and I've seen a lot of overweight Christian (myself included) and no one is doubting our "Christianity."
Conquering our sinful nature takes time. We need to spend time in prayer and His word each and every day until we have acheive victory over sin. There is Victory in Jesus!

hi. I agree that marriage is a sacred union between male and woman basically, interior of God's kingdom, and His regulations. Civil regulation is a distinct be counted all at the same time. They hardly ever coincide with God's regulations. gay and Christian are at the same time unique words, as Jesus says in case you adore me you'll keep my commandments, and if someone says they love Him and do not keep his commandments, they're a liar and the fact isn't in them. So if gays want a civil union, enable 'em. There must be NO Church sanctioned gay marriage, although. As we are all very well conscious, in united statesa. we've a element called separation of Church and State. If civil regulation needs to enable the union of gays and lesbians, so what? It has no longer something to do with faith or the Church...it has to do with a morally bankrupt international and a corrupt authorities. Our united states of america has regulations permitting all sorts of garbage, so why might want to this be any diverse? How corrupt grow to be Roman authorities in the course of the time of Christ? He said to obey the regulations of the land, and keep your eyes in the direction of heaven. Jesus also said even as we are interior the international now to not be OF the international. If all of us did that, nicely, we would not difficulty ourselves extremely a lot with problems with this international... so some distance as gay adoption is going, nicely, i'm adverse to it, yet back, none human beings can opt for our mom and father, even if or not they are "sturdy" [or no longer], even if or not they are Christian [or no longer], even if or not they are abusive [or no longer]. Heterosexual atheists can and do have little ones, and carry them with their humanistic perception equipment. we can't verify who has little ones and who does no longer, in simple terms because we do not trust them (a minimum of no longer in united statesa.). after we are adults, we ought to opt for the way we can stay our lives or perhaps if to settle for Christ, no be counted how we were raised or who raised us.

Of course.
Sexual orientation does not prevent one from being a Christian, it is how you act on those urges. It is clearly possible not to be controlled by the urges, as is evident with pedosexuals who control their urges. Unmarried heterosexuals also have to control their urges.
We seem to target homosexuality, but there are more than just them and heterosexuals that are recognized by the American Psychological Assc. Granted, in 2000, the U.S. Congress ordered them to withdraw their conclusions on pedosexuals, but that did not change the fact, anymore than the uproar caused by their decision on homosexuals back in the 70s.
After Armageddon, such genetic disorders, along with all the others, will be cured and we will no longer see them.

God didnt make gays or lesbians...If they change and ask the good Lord to forgive them, then they can be called Christians..To be a Christian, you have to live like Christ did..Remember in the bible Sodom and Gomorrah.

They can, in the respect that they accept Jesus as their savior, but they are still committing sin. You could just as easily have said "can a man having sex with his girlfriend be christian" or "can someone who is an alcoholic be christian" Unfortuanetly many of them don't accept that it is a sin, and think God is ok with it, just like people who fornicate think God's ok with it. Homosexuality is no different than any other sin, people struggle with many different types of sins, but if they are making a true committment to Christ, they need to turn away from whatever sin they are entangled in.

1Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 SOME OF YOU USED TO DO THOSE THINGS. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
SOME OF YOU USED TO DO THOSE THINGS…
It is likely that there were Christians in Corinth who HAD BEEN homosexual, BUT had left that lifestyle and been forgiven.

Of course they can. Not all Christians are ignorant homophobes. There are many wonderful open minded and more importantly, INTELLIGENT Christians.
We can certainly tell what category the first 3 responders to this question fall in, can't we. That would be the first kind of Christians that I mentioned.

Yes. They have just as many rights as anyone else. I wouldn't really want to be one if I was a lesbian, though - all Christians seem to be a bunch of homophobes.
