No. If you don't want to be a catholic and don't believe in their beliefs then you're not catholic. You don't have to have a specific or organized religion. You believe in God and what God teaches...that's what counts. If you look at most of the religions in this world you will find that they are based on the same principals of love and respect...and that's what counts.

Being baptized Catholic, does not make you a catholic. If you disagree with the teachings of the Catholic Church, than why would you want to consider yourself a Catholic. That is as if you were a self proclaimed Republican yet had Democratic ideas and disagreed with republican ideas.
So no you should not consider yourself a Catholic. There are many other alternative christian religions, and there are also other religions completely separated from Christianity that you may find are more believable or more in-tune to you.
Perhaps you do not wish to belong to any religion, you can live happily with your own spiritual beliefs, your own rituals and prayers etc... Whatever it is the choice is yours; no water spilled on your head as a child can make the decision for you.

No you're not a Catholic. You have to believe the basics of Christianity and accept the authority of the Church to consider yourself a Catholic.
You can say you were baptized a Catholic. You can even join in communion with other Catholics once you decide that's what you believe to be true, and you've been to reconciliation (confession).
So what do you believe? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is divine? Do you believe that humanity needed a savior and that Christ died on the cross to redeem us? If so, then you are a Christian.
Do you believe that we are saved by faith alone and once you make an intellectual acknowledgement of God, then you can never lose your salvation? Do you believe that the Bible alone is the authority for all things spiritual? Do you believe that the church Jesus Christ started was never intended to be material, or have any form, its just spiritual... If so, then you are Protestant.

No, i don't think you should consider yourself a catholic. Just because your parents are catholic doesn't make you one. If you disagree or have doubts about the religion than i suggest you look into comparative religion. If you believe in God research the three monotheistic religions: Islam, Judaism, and Christianity without any bias.

It is up to you.
You do not even state whether you feel that you are a Christian.
However as a baptized Catholic you have the right to call yourself a Catholic but you do not have to use this right.
It sounds like you are beginning to search for what you believe.
That is a very good thing.
As you continue your faith journey, please consider Catholicism for what it really stands for and not what you might think it stands for. Do a little homework. You might be surprised.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Well you pretty much said in your question that you are not a Catholic. I was raised Catholic and do not consider myself something that I am not. I now go to a Methodist church and love it. Never will I go to any church or follow any beliefs, politics or anything based on what my parents tell me to believe. Be yourself... Its all good.

Since you are baptized catholic but don't go to church, that means you are a non-practicing catholic.

IF you don't believe in their doctrine, then you're not Catholic. Your denomination is not important, saved is saved, how is your walk with Jesus? Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior? If yes, then find a Bible based church that you do like.

I don't believe so. If you were 'baptized' as a catholic it would have been as a little child and you would have received the 'sprinkling'..which, according to scripture is not baptism..the bible says people are to be immersed in water for their sins to be ceremoniously washed away.
I am glad you are a believer..and I hope you continue to study the Bible.
