I think their show just illustrates how anyone could make anything look like B.S. if they put their minds to it. Most of the time they are so conservative except when it comes to religion. I'm pretty liberal but i respect Gandhi, Mother Theresa, the Pope, The Dali Lama, Jesus, etc. I notice that when someone has an intelligent argument against their opinion they cut that person off or edit it. they also often seem to look for ignorant people to stand up for the other side.
The Bible is like the Constitution in that it can be interpreted in so many ways you can argue any side to any point using it.
Personally I don't like their show because most of the time it resembles Fox News too much. My roommate rented season one and although they are funny I don't I share most of their opinions. I didn't see that one but I'm sure it would have pissed me off.

Speaking in general terms, if you have read the Bible, you will realize that that isn't 100% true. But that you can find a lot of B*LLSHIT in it, that is totally accurate! After all, didn't Jesus came to us for just that, to do away with of that BS ancient people previouly read about and believed? Could he have been wrong? I wonder.......

Initially, it sounds appropriate. See Carlin, too. And try: Vidal, Hemingway, Dawkins, Harris, Hubbard, Clarke, Heinlein, Gates, Bierce, Pascal, Twain, Allen, Nietzsche, Huxley, Dennet, Paine, Ustinov, Asimov, Bonaparte, Crick, Darrow, Dietrich, Colton, Sagan, Holmes, Kepler, Franklin, Galileo...

I'm in Thailand which has closed YouTube, but I agree with Penn and Teller. Perhaps they could've used a "better" word. No good fanning the flames of controversy with obvious invective.

Finally skeptics have media representation! Crude and unsubtle representation, but a voice nonetheless. So many media companies produce the supernatural ghost, psychic, religion fluff. It's insulting to intelligent people everywhere. Kudos to Showtime for having the guts to run the show. There are no sacred cows when those two hit the stage, so it's nice to see them still in action doing something that the Christian establishement would never have allowed even 20 years ago. Thanks P&T!!!

They're preaching to the choir and that's really the problem, isn't it? The one's who need to open their eyes and ears will not watch with an open mind.
Edit: Nunya et al, that's part of a series where BS is the name of the series, not just the one episode. They debunk all sorts of myths. I think it's on Showtime.

So Sad!
"Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." John 7: 47-51 The Bible - KJV. These words are the 'Words' of Jesus!
This book, the 'Bible' has been more questioned and scrutinized since it's beginning! It still 'Stands' above All Others - including Penn and Teller.
Be at Peace - Grace Unto You All.
Take Care and God Bless!

(Jesus turned water into wine, walked on water and rose from the dead...Ta Daaaaa! They're just jealous they can't do that, ha! I kid...) Seriously, It was in your face, but that's Penn and Teller for you, always pushing people's buttons. What is great is that they point out the contradictions that are rampant in the bible, most people don't or won't acknowledge that they are there. By the way thanks for all the thumbs down, my fault I guess for trying to be funny at 11:32pm....

Well, that sounds a bit strong; but I don't believe in the Bible, either. And, yes, I've studied it for years.

Good for them, ive been saying it for years. Hehe, sorry... in all seriousness it isn't right to throw your beliefs on someone unless they are asking or forcing theirs on you. While i disagree with the bible I think people should believe what they want. Though if you come to convert me, prepare for mental warfare.
