i think it just shows that the person couldnt face the other one face-to-face...i think breaking up over the phone is kinda childish myself..just be grown up about the whole situation and go to the person...i think the reason they do it over the phone is so they can end the conversation whenever they want to..just simply hang up..but in person they cant get away that easy

There is no good way to break up. Personally I feel over the phone break up is the cowards way to break up but I have done it and I have done it face to face. It sucks either way. What difference does it really make? Neither party gets a thrill out of it. It's just something that unfortunately has to happen between some people.

If you do it over the phone, yeah, you are acting like a coward. You should always go to the person, face-to-face, and say, "We're over" or "I can't be with you anymore".

breaking up over the phone is for people who are too scared to do it in person for people that are scared to the could be reaction and honestly at one point or another we were all scared of something and thats what people do when they are scared.

pretty much...outside of say..high school relationships which even then is **** but at least you can say you were young. I was dumped on the phone once
