We have provided foster care for these boys (7, 6 and 4) for the past 18 months and have biological sons slightly older. We are looking for inspiration for the entire evening (which we'd like to be slighly formal) and envolving our family, extended family and friends. Ideas on "ceremonies" as well as gifts are appreciated! Any meaningful suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

I have an idea and I have done this with all ages. How about something similar to build a bear but you do it at your home that way everyone will have fun and get to keep a keepsake to remind them of that evening.

if you are religious i would plan a special event with my pastor like a "family reunion" type event involving all the children and you and your husband and as many other family members as possible and being in church of course you will be dressed up as everyone should be.you could share special music, stories of the joys of being a family and each child could tell their own special story of what it means to be a part of this family.you should have a nice meal and enjoy this special time.congratulations to you and your family, i hope i was of some help.good luck.
