I live in Miami too. It's definitely alright. You can drive to school, but you need to be under the guidance of someone older than 21 no matter what it says on the card. Under Florida's law, if you have your permit, you can't drive alone below the age of 16 and if you don't have your permanent license.

You only have a permit, not a license. You can only drive per the restrictions, with a licensed driver 21, and over.

Well permits should all be the same, but sometimes the state changes them to fit state rules and regulations. For example here in AZ, you have to be driving with someone who has a driver's license in the passenger, not 21 and not a permit-holder. You can find out info at your local DMV...just call em.

In Texas, all new drivers under 18 would desire to finished an authorized driving force coaching direction earlier they may be authorized. The state of Texas helps the parent to coach the student utilising authorized curriculum and components. young human beings would start up this methodology at 14, yet won't have the skill to get a learner’s enable until eventually the age of 15.

If you only have a drivers permit no. Until you get your drivers license you are required by this screwed up law to have someone with a drivers license in the car with you every time
you get your car on the road. ( unless you want to give a so called officer a reason to smile real big when they hand your ticket to you )

Look up the laws for drivers with permits in your state. They should be under the State Department of Motor Vehicles, or something similar.

No, you must have a licensed adult with you at all times or you will not be allowed to get your license. It is not a driver's license. You are permitted to learn.
