Keep it at 21, with the exception of people in the service, on base. If you can die for my freedoms, you can drink on your time off.

PS...You can buy shotguns younger than 18, and no state will allow you to carry a concealed handgun until you're 21. Also, no one is allowed to bring a gun into a school, 14 or 114.

It is very doubtful that the federal government will allow the legal drinking age to roll back to 18. A few years ago, the fed gov linked highway funding to states raising the age from 18 to 21. It is interesting that you can enlist in the military and you can vote at 18 (your of legal age actually) but you can not drink.....interesting what groups and lobbists can accomplish. A vocal, active minority can often cause d things to happen....MADD, the dry's, and how about Madeline O'Hare and a small group of atheists.... _

Keep the age at 21! So many people are not mature until they are 21. Some never mature, but at least at that age its still much better than 18!

Well, in Ontario, Canada, the legal drinking age is 19 except on our army bases where it is 18. However, it used to be 21 years ago (like I'm talking back when my parents were teenagers and young adults - 60's & 70's).

3. Change it to 18. We have the highest drinking age in the world, and also the most alcohol-related problems. Being gradually introduced to alcohol from a younger age makes one less likely to go to excess later.

Well you can buy a gun at 18, but you are not responsible enough to drink at 18 so maybe they should just wait those few years until they mature, or get arrested carrying a gun to school. BUT drinking is bad!!!!!
