this is a true story. i was walking to mcdonalds one night when we passed a little psychic house (someone lived and worked there, residential area)
i had the idea to stand at the door and wait. if they were psychic they would open the door, knowing my name and how much money i had in my wallet)
i stood at the door for about 5 to 7 minutes. nothing happened.
if they WERE psychic they would have known i was there and would have been waiting for me.
alas....

because they aren't mind readers
they read the energy that surrounds you , and that energy ( the aura ) holds information about you
such as likes , dislikes , illnesses , past memories etc
it comes in feelings and images .... not voices
so in order to do this .... it is nice to know the name of who you are reading
they dont " have " to know your name , it is just polite to ask
and for the same reason as above .... they dont get the lottery numbers

they have lives also , and how would they watch their favourite tv programme or play with their kids , if they kept tuning into someone passing or standing at their house ?
there is a lot of nonsense out there about psychics

And -- Why do I have to call the phone psychics? Shouldn't they KNOW I'm waiting to hear from THEM?
Why hasn't Sylvia Browne or John Edward ever won even a small PART of any lottery?

Psychics have to know your name the same reason exorcists have to know the demons name. A name carries who you are and you can control or rebuke it if you have the name. Psychics need to know your name so the demon who is controlling the psychic can know you and what you have done and will do.

So they can call up the demon (they think the guardian angel) that follows that person around and find out what info that demon has on the person.
