does riding a bike often make your thighs and legs thicker?

in my case it made them slimmer but more defined. I ride 2 hours a day. religiously, and lost 4 inches from each thigh (which i needed to) and ended up with muscular, strong and defined legs and butt.

Yes but in a good muscly way. Your probably the type of girl who wants to eliminate fat without gaining bulky parts.. am I right? Despite what you may think it simply doesn't happen unless you are a) a man(more testosterone) B) already VERY fit.

Riding a bike is a great way to build muscle(lean), lose weight AND most importantly gaining aerobic fitness.

If you ride properly with the right cadence of 85 plus per minute you won't. Mash the heavy gears and you will as well as blow your knees.

For a lot of riders it does. It really depends on your body type and riding style.

Only if you're working HARD to build muscle. Otherwise, it will tone them up and make them SEXY!
