give a copy of this report to your insurance company and they will handle it.let your insurance company take care of it they know how to handle this.if you dont have insurance you may have a problem.in michigan you are required to carry auto insurance if you dont have a valid policy you could lose by default whether the accident was totally someone elses fault or not.good luck.you would also be ticketed for not having insurance andpoints accessed to your liscense.

Definitely call the Police and ask for the investigating officer to call you back. If it was two vehicles involved you most surely want to find out why the other vehicles information was not on the report.

From the sounds of it, if you turn it in to your I nsurance Company they are going to process it as a 1-car accident under your policy and hence, the rates will increase in the next year.

The police officer should have the name and phone number of the person who hit you. A word of advice: do not let the officer put calling the offender on to you; it is his/her job.

Many states are now No Fault and will not "get the other person's Insurance info."

Good Luck

If you have insurance give the information to them and ask them to help you.

If that doesn't work come back here and post the policy number (including any dashes it might have) and your state ONLY. Do not list the other person's name. I have a way to POSSIBLY figure out who the company is based on the policy number.

i own a shop and you may have to get back in touch with the person who hit you or the police department to find this out for sure,id say its done been turned in by the other person, and they may get in contact with you or your insurance company, they usually try to keep the individuals out of it and work it out within the insurance company's them self, but in certain cases they do get in touch with you directly ,so id say you,ll be hearing from them soon, good luck with it hope this helps.

In fact, you have no business relation ship with the other party's insurance carrier. Turn the information over to your insurance and let them handle it. That's what you pay them for.

Turn the information over to your insurance company and they will obtain it for you. Otherwise, you're gonna have to call the guy and ask them who their insurance company is.
