Shouldn't we go out of our way to sin as much as possible so His death won't be for naught?

The quetion isn't "Is there anyone who hasn't sinned." Good job Christians.

That's where the whole "Christian" idea of "Original Sin" comes in. You could live like Mother Teresa, and it wouldn't matter because you were conceived sexually. Your mythological forefather screwed up by eating an apple with your mythological foremother at the instigation of a talking snake, and now we all have to pay for it - unless we let Jesus pay for it instead, with his blood, etc etc. Repeat until it makes sense.

"Nobody is without sin." If you mean everybody has acted immorally at one time or another, I concur. But "sin" is just a concept invented by savages to explain why God didn't always make it rain when they asked.

The theory of Original Sin and Salvation, only created by people with Cow Sense ! There is no Logic to support the theory.
Moreover, the "Fable" that Jesus died and that he died for our sins and that we have to beieve and accept him into her hearts in order to attain salavation is The Greatest Ever Story Told in the history of Mankind.
Did Jesus die in the first place? I dont think so. Why?
It is a rule in the logic of evidence that the more unusual, the more important, is the fact sought to be established, the greater in amount, the more precise and conclusive in character, must be the evidence required to establish it. An ordinary fact is established by ordinary evidence. An unusual fact, a fact of vast significance, a fact involving life, liberty, reputation, can be established only by a great amount of evidence - evidence of the best quality, evidence that will bear scrutiny and analysis. A modest amount of evidence would be sufficient to prove that a man in good health rose from his bed and dressed himself this morning. Why? Because the fact is one of most common occurrence. "But how much evidence do you suppose it would require to convince an intelligent court that a man walked down the street on his ears, and that he walked faster than a healthy athlete who followed him could walk on his well developed legs? Such a proposition could not be proved at all. And why not? Because the thing alleged is unnatural, unreasonable, impossible, and, therefore, false!

A court could more easily believe that a hundred or a thousand witnesses had been deceived by optical illusion, or that they were lying, or that they were insane, than that a man could walk a mile in a few minutes on his ears.

If, moreover, in trying to establish such an unusual proposition, the witnesses did not agree as to the facts; if they contradicted one another in vital essentials as to time, place and circumstances; do you think the court would conclude that the thing had actually happened? Now such a case would be an exact parallel to the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The thing affirmed as a fact is unnatural, unreasonable, and, according to every canon of human experience, impossible. Therefore, no amount of human testimony can make it credible.

If it were really true that Christ died and rose from the dead, the world would know the exact date he died and the date on which the resurrection took place. The date of a fact of such momentous importance could never be forgotten by the mind of man. But the Christian church till today, has never known the EXACT DATE of Christ's DEATH and RESURRECTION!
So now, you decide whether Jesus died in the first place !

Have you ever thought that maybe every time you sin he feels the nails. He feels the pain all over again. You don't have to sin for it to be worth it. Him saving a single life while all the rest remain safe would make it worth it to him. From this question it sounds like you are looking for an excuse to not obey. Our life and sin is passed on in the blood. I could back that up biblically but that would take a lot more space. Basically we are born in sin and need Jesuss sacrafice from birth.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God Romans 3:23

You are right. Actually God made a mistake by letting His son die because, He didn't realize that if He had given His son immortality, Jesus would have climbed down off the cross and given the Romans the finger. None of today's other religions could compete with that.

Jesus died in order to fulfill Biblical reference and for us to ask forgiveness from someone who had Gods ear, however God still has the final say. Its odd that Satan didn't temp Jesus in the desert with naked dancing girls but perhaps they weren't considered a temptation, just like having A hummer wasn't an option. I believe Jesus was dying to serve God not mankind, so he died for God, not for our nothing little sins. Those who preach such a misinterpetation of scripture are followng tradition which we know Jesus hated.

it's impossible to be unsaved and sin-free. even without the original sin thing, you still are rejecting Christ, which is the sin that keeps you from God.

and we are not to use our salvation as an occasion to the flesh. hence the "repent" thing. repentance requires a change for the better, and sinning isn't better.

1 John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
