depends on what your cooking on and what your end goal is. for stir fry, half thawed half frozen works best for me, it cuts easy and will cook all the way through with a lot of oil/marinate and on low heat. on the grill it would be a little bit more tricky as you'd have to foil wrap it with a lot of moisture, butter ,oil, and or fruits (lemon, lime, oranges etc.) and try to cook the inside but keep the outside moist also on low heat. all other i would defrost it but there maybe other ways do to it. just make sure it's done though

First, don't thaw chicken in warm water, that can raise the bacteria level quickly to a dangerous level.

As for your question, you can cook a half frozen chicken breast the exact same way as a thawed one. If you plan on browning in a pan, brown, then reduce the heat, put a lid on, and allow the inside to steam. Once it is mostly cooked, take the lid back off to finish searing the outside. If you were going to bake it, do it normally, only for a little longer. I have to cook semi frozen chicken all of the time because my family changes their mind about what they want for dinner every night 30 minutes before I start cooking.

Yes, you can cook partially frozen chicken breasts. Just remember that it will take longer to do so, since the inside is still frozen. Instead of 45 minutes, cook for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Check your chicken after 1 hour and see if the juices run clear by sticking your knife in the meatiest part of the chicken. If they are clear then you're ok. If not, cook for 10 more minutes and check again.

you could thaw chicken very right away through putting it in a plastic bag and soaking it in warm water. Microwave defrosting is okay, yet in case you do not watch it you could partly practice dinner the beef because it chefs from the interior out. maximum different meats is also thawed in water as long as theiy're nicely sealed.

Boil them for 15 minutes (make sure that they are done and no pink inside) and make a great chicken salad.
Use Hellman's mayo, diced celery, thyme, rosemary, pinch of salt and pepper. Can even add some green or red grapes.
It is good warm or cold.

Place it in cold water for about 5 minutes to finish defrosting.
It should not be defrosted at room temp.

It is best if you thaw them fully in the fridge.
