You can, though be sure to use it within a month.

If you're freezing leftover frosting until you have a use for it, try this:

Pipe frosting into a thick line (3/4 inch) on wax paper. Roll up paper to make a cylinder. When frozen hard, cut into 1/2 inch pieces and dip in melted chocolate. Let harden on sheet pan lined with wax paper. Store finished bon bons at room temperature up to a week.
