On a planet of 6,000,000,000 people, where 1/3 of the people doesn't have access to clean drinking water, where 30,000 children die each day caused by starvation and Aids, where 20% of the people have to live on a salary lower than 1 dollar a day...
Do you really, honestly, truly think God even remotely cares whether or not a lousy few million teenagers pray to Him in American schools?

His first priority is clear:
1. No other gods.
2. No idols.
3. No cursing using his name.
4. No working, only worshipping him on the Sabbath.
5. Honor your parents
6. Don't murder.
7. Don't steal.
8. Don't have sex outside yourown marriage.
9. Don't lie about your neighbor.
10. Don't covet your neighbors stuff.
Or at least that's the first set of stone tables in Exodus 20 that Moses smashed. The second set of tables in Ex 34 are quite different.
1. No other gods
2. No molten gods.
3. Keep the feast of unleavened bread in the month when the ear is on the corn.
4. All first-born are God's.
5. No working on the Sabbath
6. Observe the feast of weeks, and of the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.
7. Don't offer the blood of the sacrifice and the offering of the unleavened bread together (apparently that's gross)
8. Don't leave the fat of the sacrifice laying out till morning.
9. The first of the first fruits of the harvest are given to the temple.
10 Don't boil baby goats in their mother's milk.
Wonder which one we should put up in the courthouse. Neither set strikes me as the world's greatest moral guide.

God has priorities. We see those priorities as He works through His servants all over the world. When Katrina hit, who went there to help out? Churches sent many helpers. When the Tsunami hit earlier, who sent aid? Samaritan's Purse and many other Christian groups worked to clean up the place, provide temporary shelter, and food. I can go on and on about the many occasions where Christians are working in dangerous places to help the less fortunate.
God works through His people, and His priority is to show that He loves us and cares for us.

God does help everyone. Prayers can be answered in many different ways. If you pray to get an A on your history test and fail it you shouldn't blame God, you can do things to help better your life. When I was in school we would pray for the dumbest things like please let so and so ask me out, or no home work. like it says in the Garth Brooks song-"some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers" God does not pick and chose who he listens to. He is so large and mighty you could not even fathom his powers he does listen to everyone that does believe in him and prays.

I like your point.
Philosophically speaking, however, an omnipotent being is capable of simultaneously answering all of our needs at once, be them dire or minor. The only reason he wouldn't is out of choice.
So, if you want to think about how f***ed up it all this, consider how many of the teenagers get responded to, and how many of the starving don't.

Maybe it's more important to the teenagers to pray to God than it is to God to receive the prayers.
As for God not providing clean drinking water, etc, you seem to think God is falling down on the job. I think you have Him confused with Santa Claus.
Maybe you ought to re-think some of your ideas.

I bet his number one priority is making sure the angels bring him a hearty breakfast. He doesn't care about kids in school. Not like they can make his bed or answer his correspondence. Hell, the pope has it better than god...

God has a plan for ALL of us. We don't always understand why things happen like they do but it is all a big part of His plan for us. God does not make mistakes we as humans DO

You are probably more Godly for pointing that out to the alleged Godly. You know? Giving a damn shows more humanity than any religious tirade.

perhaps. hist first priority seems to be feeding his ego, followed by ensuring everyone "praises" and "raises him up"
aftert that its all groveling and pandering to his every whim.
and after THAT it seems to be healing christians. (youll notice theyre always christians and never someone who happens not to beleive). then making appearances in toast, tortillas and other assorted condiments (hes working on refresh, ents but the dan liquid wont hold still, the virgin mary is far better at it. she took classes)
apparently gods days are pretty busy. with....something...
