She boiled the drumsticks first for 10 min and then put them on the grill for at least 15 minutes and on the bone there are dark red spots and overall the meat has a slight pink tint to it. Is it ok to eat?

It sounds undercooked to me, unless its been smoked! You better stick it back on the grill, or in a hot oven for a while longer so that the juices are no longer pink.

Don't boil chicken before you bbq, are you American or something like that. This would not happen if you marinate the chicken for at least 24hrs and marinate with the spices you like and add some wine or beer, then you bbq with med-high heat for approx. 30 - 45 min. what's the rush, the end result will be fabulous. If you cant wait then order out. Oh by the way don't eat the chicken it isn't cooked nuke it 5 -10 min.

Definetly undercooked, return to grill until juices run clear when chicken is cut into.
