Where I live, Beltane isn't actually until tomorrow. I won't be celebrating it until Sunday, when our city's Pagan community holds its 20th annual Beltane in the Park festival in our city's largest park. There'll be a public ritual, a maypole dance, and a feast. It promises to be a really good time.

Thanks for asking. :-) I hope your Beltane was wonderful.

OMGoddess, I totally forgot, thank you so much for making me forget the mundane world for a moment.
I actually celebrated it early, Saturday I catered my Dad's wedding reception party, my first endevour in cooking for seventy five people. I have never done it on such a large scale before. It turned out great. They raved about the food-all vegan except for the southwestern BBQ pulled pork, and they didn't even know it!
The menu of love had Cuban black beans, yellow rice, Mexican rice, cornbread, southwestern corn and tomato salad, hot and mild chili; all made from scratch and dairy and egg free!
Blessed Be!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, it was - in fact my friends and I celebrated at a 3-day event over the weekend with the best drum circle I've ever attended anywhere. These drummers were phenomenal. Joyous Beltane to you! :)

Wonderful, so far, but I've still got time to go. Btw it's Beltaine... pronounced Bel-Tyne (named after the Celtic god Beli).
