I agree. Christians on Y!A seem to be no way near as (deliberatly) offensive and oppositional as the atheists. No respect at all, they seem to consider Christians to be just stupid, silly, sheep who are very naive and can't think straight.
What IS logical? That God doesn't exist, only because atheists have not seen him? ooookay... God doesn't fit into our two tidy boxes of 'logical, therefore true' and 'illogical, therefore false'. Our logic doesn't say anything much, except our arrogance and narrow-mindedness.
It's fine to say 'I believe God doesn't exist' or 'I don't think God exists, based on what I've seen' or 'I don't know if God exists' = all those things are true, and fine - but to say absolutely that 'God doesn't exist' is arrogant and immediately labels anyone who thinks differently as stupid.
Talking about logic, assuming that God does not exist. While alive, Atheists have nothing to hope for, whereas Christians have hope. Hope results in (positive) action, lack of hope results in defeat and inaction. So Christians will try to improve themselves and the world.
If God does not exist, Christians and Atheists are equally worse off at death. If, by some chance, he does exist, Atheists are worse off but Christians have gained a lot. So, logically, what are the benefits (personally and for the world) of Atheism??

To be logical, one must act, and think logicly. Making choices based on logic means using science. Example where there is fire there is heat, true or false? True thus saying that fire is hot is not an opinion it is logicly proven.
Your statement "Atheists have been claiming to be logical in every way... But I don't think you know what logic means..." makes it sound as if you can prove without fail, that there is a god.

"Because not believing in unbelieveable things requires some degree of logic."
This is a previous answer, which actually is completely wrong. Follow me to Hebrews 11:1 --->
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
So we have to be certain of things that basically have no logic to them. The issue with atheists (AND other non believers) is that they either put faith in something nonexistent, or they use worldly wisdom, and lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
Ironically, as i used Biblegateway.com to search for a passage for worldly wisdom, and for those who arrogantly think they are wise, i found this:
"Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise." - 1 Corinthians 3:18
In otherwords, our religion is foolish according to the world's standards, and "logically" so. We are called after we hear a biblical truth, first to obey it whether we understand it or not, and then, later we are revealed justification for what we did (other than that it came from the bible.) recently, i have been doing this a lot, with such things as biblical family structure, God's judgement on sinful man, and homosexuality being wrong, I have accepted these as truth, I have made myself "certain of what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1 again) and as a reward for my faithfulness, within hours it all made sense to me. God is so beautiful and glorious. I encourage all to accept what they do not see, Jesus Christ, and he will make more and more sense every day. I believe it will only fully make sense once we are in heaven, (why he did what he did for our sinful people), possibly because it is the greatest and most wonderful and glorious mystery of our faith.

Logically God does not make sense. Therefore, because He can't be seen atheists use that as their logic. However, we Christians who chose happiness and serenity in Christ do so out of faith. Another term that isn't logical.

we atheists have a record of being logical rational thinkers; we are atheists. To us, christians have a record of believing just about anything without rational and logical proof - not just a book (it's just a book!). Someone could hand a christian a book about jumping off tall buildings and tell them it is a special book so you have to believe in it and everything it says. Now go jump off that building just because a book says so. See the similarities?

2. A mode of reasoning: By that logic, we should sell the company tomorrow.
3. The formal, guiding principles of a discipline, school, or science.

4. The relationship between elements and between an element and the whole in a set of objects, individuals, principles, or events: There's a certain logic to the motion of rush-hour traffic.
5. Computer Science.
1. The nonarithmetic operations performed by a computer, such as sorting, comparing, and matching, that involve yes-no decisions.

On what do you base your assertion? You don't show that you're logical. Atheists often use logical answers in their responses. You're merely stating an opinion here.

Logic involves supporting your claims with evidence.
You claim that atheists are not logical. Would you care to support that claim?

It is certainly obvious that you do not know what logic means. While looking it up in the dictionary, why not also look up the word generalization.
