Hello Lilly,
No, they are polytheistic, as were the Pagan Roman and Greek religions.
They believe that are the restored Church with indifference to the fact that Jesus built one enduring Church with Himself as the cornerstone and the disciples as the twelve foundation stones for a solid foundation. Jesus said that He would be with His Church for all times and also that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church. His Word further stated that the Church He founded is the "bulwark and ground of the truth". So in their proclamation that they are the restored Church that fell into apostasy makes a liar out of Jesus and puts into question all of His teaching. There is no teaching in all of Scripture and the entirety of Sacred Tradition that prophesies that the Church created by Jesus will fall into apostasy and be in need of restoration. It did not happen and never will as Jesus promised.
The Mormon religion is a religion based on logic. All of the truths that Christians accept on faith the Mormons have an explanation removing the mystery and adding to the Word delivered to mankind by the Son of God, Jesus Christ, causing confusion and preaching another Gospel.
In truth, there are few similarities between Mormonism and Christianity and there are several websites that compare the differences in teaching.

The Reorganized Church of Latter day Saints (Community of Christ) is monotheist but the Salt lake -centered LDS Mormon Church is not but henotheist/polytheist. There are many gods for them who were humans on other planets and they attained godhood. LDS Mormons worship Father,Son and Holy Ghost as three separate gods and the Father ,as well as the Son, has a material body in their theolgical cosmology.

Now I know this from experience, so anyone trying to deny it is a liar. Ok, they claim to be, but the boys and men are taught form an early age, that if they marry a mormon girl in the temple that they will some day be the god of their own planet. And the girls are forever birthing children. It sucks I know.

They believe that they can evolove into gods ansd that their God elohim was once a man. Which is a pagan belief, the temple has rituals which is like freemason rituals, which has nothing to do with christianity. Christians believe in being saved, mormons never get saved. Mormons take the bread and the water for their sacrement.

Mormons believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We believe that Jesus Christ is Savior of all mankind.
We do not believe in the Trinity (that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are 3 yet 1).
On PBS tonight and tomorrow they are showing a special on Mormon, you might want to check it out.

i wish you do not provide 10 factors to a Mormon merely because you relate to them extra. Jesus is clearly God. John a million makes that abundantly sparkling. The names from Adam to Noah all have meanings, or perhaps as they are translated, they type a sentence it really is pertinent to this question. (See link decrease than.) The Holy Spirit of God is clearly God for most causes too, yet you could really discover those solutions through typing "Holy Spirit is God" into any search for engine. There are unusual such issues as "the sons of god", which maximum imagine are angels (like Adam, direct creations of God). And no doubt there some secret in all of this. i imagine the most pertinent element in it really is cutting-edge in Genesis. Elohim is plural with singular. i'm not particular precisely how, because it were given into complicated Hebrew grammar, yet you'll discover that info quite really. It says, "allow us make guy in our image." it really is plural. Mormons don't have a issue with the plural, besides the indisputable fact that the singular. that is both. So, it really is the point. the picture that we were made in might want to be the eternal kinfolk. Father, spouse, and Son. there is not any issue contained in the daddy, Son, because it really is ordinary in scripture. The Holy Spirit is slightly extra shrouded in secret. it type of feels, besides the indisputable fact that, that dissimilar the failings (S)He bargains with ought to do with womanly issues (e.g. rebirth, implanting Mary, the comforting, etc.). Human kinfolk continuously starts with Father and ? and leads to Son. It would not take too a lot to fill contained in the ?. i have also examine some Hebrew professionals communicate about the way it really is extra it seems that spelled out contained in the Hebrew, yet as beforehand, you could seem that up. All suggested, it really is amazingly mysterious, and that i'm not particular if God will decide us harshly for our position on those products. God is time-honored with, and that i'm not the decide. Your issue isn't a lot with the Godhead as mutually with your popularity as Joseph Smith as a prophet. in case you may want to analyze something, seem into the accusations hostile to the guy. that is fairly solid info, and a number of it - nicely, you fairly won't be able to brush aside it. I take it back. human beings brush aside the existence of God, so human beings can and could brush aside something they prefer to. with slightly of luck you're literally not so demanding of heart.

We worship our Heavenly Father/God, in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
No other god do we worship.
