so you're looking for the reason? there's many...
- harming someone is not loving, and we are to be like God
- hate and God don't work together
- it damages the psyche of many
- it can stop a person from accepting, so you're also guilty of potentially having someone go to Hell
- it's undesirable to man and God
- once you break one rule, your view of the others change
- innocent blood has a spiritual significance
- it's not really something you can fix
- it causes fear
these are just off the top of my head. I'm sure if you examine the Bible, you'll find more.

That's only in the OT. I'm a Christian so it doesn't apply to me. Doesn't seem like der Juden take it too seriously either,or is that just Lost Hunters firing at Palestinian kids. Anyway,you shouldn't call "murder" in the States where we have this uptight situation with the cops. Try "creative disengendering" o.k.? Thanks.
